![]() This thread has solved a problem I've had for 3 years now. PS: sorry for any missed typos, I'm writing this on my phone pretty late at night. Then opening device manager through cmd to get rid of any leftovers focusrite drivers, optimizing PC for audio on windows 10 through this guide:ĭoes anyone has any idea what else I could try? What actually is causing the error? It's driving me crazy. I contacted Focusrite support and they sent me a couple of methods to fix, like clean install of the drivers, using this command in cmd: I tried multiple fixes like changing the power management options and USB power options, I tried different USB ports and USB cables, I don't have any other peripherals connected. I tried reinstalling the drivers, I reinstalled Windows 3 times, I don't have any junk programs installed, I only use Windows Defender, (i'm a perfectionist when it comes to file and PC organization), I updated Windows and all the drivers, the laptop was in a shop few weeks ago where they scanned the disc and RAM and found no issues, the battery was also replaced. It doesn't happen everytime either.Īfter many attempts on replicating the error I narrowed it down to the interface, the BSOD only happens if the interface is connected. ![]() This started happening to me a few weeks ago. ![]()
